Around that time, I had a brief chat with a chemistry guru who is working with polymers and ski boots. Fischer has a relatively short history in making ski boots, as their first models were designed by BMW engineers a few years ago (pic 2). Chile: 2011 Winter Recap
Coreshot &bull Oct 27, 2011The areas surrounding Santiago skied significantly better than in 2010 and Ski Arpa, Chile's only snowcat ski area had a reliable snowpack and hosted the 2011 Freeskiing World Tour. A couple of massive storms left an incredible base and we regularly received refreshers. In the areas down South they were calling this season the Terremoto Blanco or white earthquake due to the huge amounts of snowfall.
